Wayland P. Flowers, Jr. was the hand, and voice, that gave life to 'Madame' the flamboyant old 'broad' puppet festooned in outrageous evening gowns, tiaras and summer diamonds. They gave us a lot of laughs on shows like the Hollywood Squares. Wayland passed away in 1988 and was laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson, GA. Rumor has it 'Madame' was buried with him.
