Papillomas are benign lesion of the breast. But the cells must be examined under microscope to confirm the diagnosis. Excision biopsy is recommended. The fact that multiple intraductal papillomas can hide an intraductal carcinoma is a possibility. The decision should be made by the patient and her family. We always inform the patient all the possible scenarios and choices. The gold standard is an excision biopsy. Thank you.
